U ovom obnovljenom zatvorenom turbetu sa krovom u kojem je jedan drveni sarkofag, sa nišanima, sahranjen je šejh Ishak o kojem nema podataka u postojećoj literaturi. Mujezinović navodi narodnu predaju po kojoj je šejh Ishak „porijeklom iz Mađarske, odakle se u vrijeme nekog rata doselio u Mostar i tu se stalno nastanio“ (Mujezinović, 1982: 305). Prema predaji koju donosi Hasandedić, prvo turbe je „sagradio neki Mađar koji je iz Pešte u Mostar došao i raspitivao se kod svijeta za grob šejha Derviša Ishaka. Kad mu je neki starac pokazao grob šejh Derviš Ishakov, on mu je o svom trošku na istom mjestu turbe sagradio“ (Hasandedić, 2000: 33). Hasandedić također bilježi i sljedeću narodnu predaju u vezi sa Šejh Ishakom: „kad su Bošnjaci za njegova života ratovali u Banjoj Luci, Šejh Derviš-Ishak je proučio neku dovu u Mostaru, uzeo šaku pijeska i bacio prema Banjoj Luci, pa su Bošnjaci odmah pobijedili; neka je djevojka „muradala“ i išla svakog dana predveče u turbe i palila svijeću. Jednog dana je slučajno zakasnila i kad je htjela da uđe u turbe, neka nevidljiva ruka ju je udarila i time je ukorila što je zakasnila“ (Hasandedić, 1961: 165).
