U ovom obnovljenom otvorenom potkupolnom turbetu na četiri stuba, u kojem je jedan mezar, sa dva obojena nišana od drveta, bez natpisa, sahranjen je Hajdar-efendija, koji je bio sekretar Gazi Husrev-bega te vakif. Hadži Hajdar efendija je preminuo „1545. god., na povratku s hodočašća“ (Mujezinović, 1974: 318) iz Mekke. Palavestra navodi:“za Bijelu džamiju na Vratniku neki su pričali da je nju sagradio “Bijeli paša” koji je gradio i Bijelu tabiju (bastion) na sarajevskoj tvrđavi. Ali to nije istina. Bijelu džamiju sagradio je Divan katib (dvorski pisar) Hajdar-efendija. Za njega se pripovijedalo da je budući da je bio pisar, čitavog života ostavljao odreske od kalema, pisaljke načinjene od trstike, i toliko ih sakupio da je mogao narediti: “Kad umrem, vodu u kojoj ćete kupati moje mrtvo tijelo ugrijte na vatri od komadića ovih kalema što sam ih čitavog života skupljao!”. Njegovoj je želji, kažu, bilo udovoljeno. Džamiju su prozvali Bijelom džamijom po tome što je bila tako lijepo krečom obijeljena da je nije bilo bjelje u čitavom starom Sarajevu” (Palavestra, 2003: 32). U vezi sa nišanima na ovom turbetu „predanje kaže da su ovdje ranije bili zlatni nišani (vjerovatno sa pozlatom na pismu) i da ih je sa sobom odnijela vojska Evgena“ (Mujezinović, 1974: 321), pri čemu „ovo je jedini primjerak drvenih nišana u Sarajevu” (Mujezinović, 1974: 320).
