Nema historijskih podataka o tome ko je sahranjen u ovom obnovljenom zatvorenom turbetu, sa oktagonalnom osnovicom, pokrivenom kupolom, u kojem su dva drvena sarkofaga, sa nišanima, bez natpisa. „Sačuvana legenda kaže da su tu sahranjena dva šehita (mučenika) čija se imena ne spominju. Prema istoj legendi žena pašina je vidjela nad grobovima ovih mučenika svjetlo (nur), pa im je prvotno podignuto turbe drveno, a koje se nalazilo na mjestu spomenute porušene crkve [crkva sv. Ante] i kada je crkva zidana, sagrađeno je novo turbe u koje su preneseni posmrtni ostaci ovih šehita“ (Mujezinović, 1982: 66). Za ovo turbe i Lopašić navodi da su tu „dvojica turskih svetaca“ te "da je ta svetinja postala sgodom, kad je neka pašinica ugledala svjetlost iz zemlje i da je njen paša to mjesto proglasio svetim. Ima i drugih priča o postanku te svetinje; Turci do nje mnogo drže, a inače bi ju bili već porušili, jer smeta prolazu i saobraćaju“ (Lopašić, 1890: 36). U časopisu Nada, a u vezi sa turbetom, donosi se slična predaja: „U njemu počiva neki pobožni muhamedanac, kojemu se danas više ne zna ime. O postanku ove svetinje priča se ovo: Ondje, gdje danas stoji kula bihaćke kaznione, stajaše nekoć kuća nekoga Mehmed-paše. Jednog jutra negdje oko sabaha gledaše mati Mehmed-pašina kroz prozor, te opazi, kako se sa onog mjesta, gdje se sada uzdiže turbe, diže u dva plamena vatra „nur“. Ona dozva svog sina pašu, te mu ispripovjedi, što je na tom i tom mjestu vidjela, a kako ta vatra dokazuje, da tu počiva svet čovjek, sagradi tu paša odmah turbe od drveta i mušebeka.“ Dalje se navodi: „Kasnije popravljaše turbe odlična porodica Hrustanbegovića i najposlije hućumet (vlast). No kako je to turbe bilo gotovo već palo, podignuto je godine 1886. uz izdašnu pripomoć pobožnih Muhamedovaca novo turbe“ (Slike u tekstu – Nada, 1901: 267).
